Physical Education Year Course 9
Required for freshmen.
The course is divided into both Boys’ Physical Education and Girls’ Physical Education. The course is designed to give the student basic knowledge of the rules as well as the various motor skills needed to perform the various carry-over sporting activities of softball, basketball, soccer. A healthy, physical, co-educational experience is also incorporated into our program through various games and activities. The student is offered the opportunity to express himself or herself physically within a Christian environment of good sportsmanship and good citizenship.

Advanced Athletics/Varsity Sports Semester Course 10,11,12
Prerequisite: Approval of instructor.
This course is offered periodically. It is open only to potential varsity candidates, and is offered only at “0” period. Students
enrolled in this course will receive special emphasis on the skill and technique particular to their prospective varsity
sport. Other areas covered might include weight training, and flexibility. Each individual varsity sport offering the course
will make the outline of the course most beneficial to its program. Credit is offered only to students completing all
requirements for the full semester. Grading will be done on a pass/fail basis.
