Created for educators and by educators, the Virtual Teachers' Lounge is an innovative, free Web site allowing teachers to communicate and network with peers, gather classroom tips and build communities online. One of the oldest homework-assistance sites. Created by students and faculty at Swarthmore College.
MAD Scientist Network
Based at Washington University Medical School in St. Louis. Hundreds of scientists in numerous disciplines contribute. Excellent Tools for searching and viewing archived questions and answers.
Webmath
Provides on-screen forms where students enter problems, from elementary arithmetic to algebra, geometry and calculus. A software "engine" then generates step-by-step instructions plus the answer.
