What is the purpose of the Father Biasio Endowment Fund? Like every independently funded non-profit organization, Paraclete High School relies on a variety of sources for the revenue essential to providing an excellent, Catholic high school education to students of the Antelope Valley. One of the distinguishing characteristics of an endowment fund is that the principal amount contained in the account is not disbursed for any reason. This principal amount is invested in a manner that creates a steady return. This Endowment Fund ensures that Paraclete High School has a permanent source of operating revenue, above the collected tuition and fees. Each year we are faced with numerous students that need assistance based on financial need. Our million dollar goal will allow Paraclete the ability to use a percentage of interest earned annually to assist our deserving student population. The Father Biasio Endowment Fund will then become a permanent source of financial aid each year. Why is this fund so important to Paraclete? We need a permanent source of financial aid income each year! Our Father Biasio Endowment Fund income will produce a stable and reliable flow of money that will allow Paraclete the ability to better forecast current student need and future student need. Our million dollar goal can be reached this year. We are grateful to have a donor willing to match all gifts up to $400,000.00 . Paraclete will continue to seek major gifts in its ongoing effort to build the endowment fund to one million dollars. This school year we need to finish the fund while the matching gift is available.
