Guidelines:
- 1. Science fair open to all Paraclete students only.
- 2. All projects must utilize the Scientific Method:
- a. Hypothesis - based on observations
- b. Collection of data (measurements)
- c. Analysis of data (graphs)
- d. Prediction - Outcome
- e. Discussion of hypothesis (provable/nonprovable)
- 3. All work must be done by the student. Teachers serve as
advisors. Please, NO parental help.
- 4. All projects must contain a readable display NOT exceeding 4 ft
wide, 3 ft tall, 2 ft deep
- 5. A formal paper explaining the purpose of the exhibit may not
exceed five typed pages
- 6. Data collection must be accurate and displayed neatly
- 7. Participants must be in attendance and ready to answer
questions posed by judges
- 8. Ribbons will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes
- 9. Plagiarism of another scientist's work without appropriate
citing will result in disqualification
