Academics of Paraclete High School

Paraclete High School is a Catholic co-educational school serving the Antelope Valley and surrounding areas since 1963. It is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the Western Catholic Education Association. As an academic institution, Paraclete seeks primarily to prepare students for entrance and success at the college level. The school also provides courses for students not necessarily college bound, maintaining for all a challenge to love learning, to respect science and the arts, to be able to think critically and to understand values.

SAT Math and Verbal Mean scores consistently are above the national, California, and local mean.
Annually, Paraclete students earn recognition as National Merit Scholars and commended students.

Advanced Placement courses are available in Biology, English, Government (Civics), and U.S. History. A.P. Spanish course offering is pending.
Honor courses are open to qualified students.

Academic letter is awarded tp students who maintain a 3.5 grade point average for four semesters at Paraclete High School. Letter is also awarded to students who meet requirements for participation in the Academic Decathlon. Students who participate in Mock Trial are also recognized.
