Class of 2018

“My name is Vita, a proud graduate of class of 2018 and forever a member of the Paraclete family. I truly have made lifelong friends here, learned things that have helped me and will help me through my journey, felt loved and bonded, experienced things that I’ve never thought to experience, been inspired by some of the most creative and talented people I have ever came across. I’ve been enlightened by great teachers at Paraclete to choose biochemistry as my major. I wish to work in environmental or biomedical engineering area in the future. I am very thankful for the priceless opportunities at Paraclete which helped me getting admitted to a number of amazing institutions such as UCLA, Boston College, Georgia Tech and etc. Most of all, I get to spend the next four years at my dream school, University of Notre Dame, where I will still be surrounded by Paraclete alumni because once a Paracletian always a Paracletian. I am incredibly grateful for having this education that unites wisdom and faith and I will not hesitate to recommend it to anyone seeking for the SPIRIT.”         Vita Zhang, Shenzhen, China — Class of 2018

Class of 2017

“My name is Tai Huang (Pete), I’m originally from Shanghai, China. I’m going to be graduating in the year of 2017, and I was admitted to several universities: UC Davis, UC Santa Cruz, UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara, and University of Washington. I was here for 3 years beginning sophomore year, and I’ve taken a total number of 3 AP classes: AP Calculus AB, AP Statistics, and AP Physics. My favorite activity at school is the Chinese New Year celebration. I can still clearly remember that the first year we were here, Mr. Anson, the principal, came in to the class and told us that he wanted us to feel like we are home. He wants us to know that they care about us, so they want to do something for us for Chinese New Year. Therefore that turned out to be a tradition to celebrate Chinese New Year for international students every year. All the faculty in our school treat us really kind, they understand that we are far from home, and it’s the first time for most of the international students, and that we are this far away from our home and families, thus they help us a lot with the school work and always give us a lot of compliments. At last, after three years of high school life at Paraclete, I really appreciate every teacher and student who helped us through these 3 years and I’m really proud to be a Paraclete alumni.”
