Paraclete Parent Organization – PPO

News! News! News!

The PPO Board is pleased to announce that we were able to grant over $20,000 in Wish List requests this year!  We purchased utility carts and other materials for the Robotics team, 4 water bottle filler stations for throughout the school, a color printer for the computer lab, 64 new classroom desks, Summer Institute training for our counselors for the new Naviance program, and miscellaneous support for journalism, science, and math department needs. We are so happy to be able to use the funds raised from Vegas Night to support our school!

On a personal note, I’d like to take a moment to thank the parents, students, teachers, and staff with whom I’ve had the great pleasure to work with for the past 11 years.  Paraclete is truly a special place, and will always remain in my heart!  Best of luck to all current and future Spirits!!

Sincerely, Lisa Jorgenson PPO President

Dear Parents,

The Paraclete Parent Organization (PPO) is comprised of every parent who has a student at Paraclete High School.  Our main function is to raise money to support the educational programs and campus at Paraclete.  The PPO Board meets once a month throughout the school year. Please come to our meetings so you can get involved (and work off your service hours) We meet the first Wednesday of each month at 6pm in the library. Check the school calendar for more info!

Vegas Night is intended to raise money for Paraclete, as well as to provide an enjoyable evening for the Paraclete community, family, and friends. Casino games, music, food, raffle prizes, silent auctions, and more, ensure a fun and exciting evening for all who attend!

Vegas Night 2017 was a smashing success!!  We had well over 300 people in attendance, and raised the most money we have to date!  Ticket sales are still rolling in through FACTS payments, but we expect our total profits to approach $30,000!!

A HUGE THANK YOU to all of our parent volunteers and donors!  We could not pull off this event without your hard work and generosity.  And the best part is that the proceeds go right back to the school and our students.  This spring, staff members will compile wish lists of items they would otherwise probably not be able to purchase.  The PPO Board will review the wish lists and be able to grant the majority, if not all, of the requests!  Stay tuned for a list of what is purchased…

We hope all attendees had a wonderful time!
