Paraclete Parent Organization – PPO
On April 2, the board was able to grant $20,000 worth of “wish list” requests to benefit the students, staff, and school. It was all made possible by the PPO’s successful annual Vegas Night Fundraiser last October.
Here are some of the exciting items we approved:
- Science Department
- Lab Coats
- Banners for STEM Competitions
- Various parts, tools, and Registration Fees for Competitions
- 2 Water bottle filler/water fountains
- New Bell relay controller and software
- Art Department, Drama, Yearbook, & ASB
- Color All in One Printer with Replacement Toner Cartridges
- Bluetooth Speaker systems
- Apple TV in each classroom
- New set of chairs
Thank you, again, to all of our Vegas Night volunteers who helped make this possible.
The PPO is looking for a few good parents to be on the board next school year 2019/2020!
The board is responsible for a variety of events throughout the school year. Some events include – providing dinner for the staff on Back to School night, hosting the Las Vegas Night fundraiser and recognizing the staff during appreciation week.All of the board member’s parent hours (including BINGO!!) are taken care of for the year.
If you think you might be interested in being on the board next year and would like to find out more, please attend one/all of the upcoming monthly meetings -Wednesday, February 6th, Tuesday March 12, Tuesday April 2nd and Wednesday May 1st.
The meetings are held in the library, starting at 6:30pm and last about an hour.If you are interested in being on the board, please fill out and submit an application by April 26th, 2019.

Either email the completed form to Melissa Phoreman, PPO President, or bring it to a meeting or drop it off at the office.
Elections will be held at the May meeting and the new members will be notified and asked to attend the June meeting.
It is a great way to get involved and make some new friends!!
